all dogs, every dog is kin to wild dogs sometimes referred as wolf or some other type wild canine. Paying a big price and taking a dog into the house doesn't change nature. Any dog running lose is a loose dog and not necessairly a friend or pet to strangers. To error on mankinds safety is priority over messing with mutts to determine if they are friend or foe.

when he oil worker folks leave, the residents will have a inflated living standard and class hatred with the greedy businesses that threw the locals under the bus in favor of outsider spending.

Vicious dogs?? No, they have a list of thirty people who decided to admit they own a particular breed that has been vilified. If any of the dogs were indeed vicious they should be put down. could have easily read. They have a list of people who decided to admit they own a particularpersonal weapon that has been vilified. If possible they should be put down.

whgfeelme is just jealous of anybody who has a real job and works hard 10-12 hours a day to support a family.

Makes him feel bad that he sits on his****and watches Jerry Springer while drinking Boone's Farm and running his toothless mouth about outsiders.

Seems yokels have done a great job of making OV a dying S**hole, the only sign of life is OUTSIDERS pumping money into gas drilling and processing.

Hefner is right.

" It was rare, but I did have to destroy a few dogs due to some quirk in their personality. "

Should apply that same logic to liberal leaning children, they will just be a 47% when they grow up.

If, for whatever reason, a dog is found to be vicious the only effective action is to put it down. I raised and trained sled dogs for many years. It was rare, but I did have to destroy a few dogs due to some quirk in their personality. Even small dogs have a surprising ability to do physical harm to a person, especially small children. Their jaws are designed to crush bones, and they have teeth that can slice through the hide of a walrus - which is amazingly tough. The right kind of dog is a joy to have. I happen to be biased toward working dogs, including cattle dogs and hunting dogs.

Whgfeeling: May I suggest that first you do a spell check before hitting the post button thereby not revealing yourself as a total, reality shunning, fool. I remind you that if it were not for those gas and oil riggers of whom you speak so contemptuously….. the few in Wheeling who have held onto their businesses would be out of business. Have you had that “Wheeling Feeling” diagnosed? I’m sure the bad breath, the uncontrollable expelling of intestinal gas through the anus, the severe depression, and the obvious inability to competently decipher babble from all that is fit to print, to mention just a few symptoms of that “Wheeling Feeling,” can be dealt with, but leaving the scene of West Virginia’s answer to Chernobyl is the only sure remedy. Run for your life, the vicious dogs are taking over the city.

how many of these are owned by oil workers? just more proof they are more trouble than what they are worth. filling our ER's because of drunken fights, our police because of pill abuse. the list goes on. send them to CA with the rest of the drug abusers.

You can't fix stupid. Is Wheeling that dead that the newspaper has to resort to writing about a dog ordinance. Now that I think of it, the city has gone to the dogs, so the story is timely.
