Ah, the good ole days of Centre Foundry! It was while working in Centre Foundry that I learned the value of a college education - getting one. I stepped out of high school directly into the foundry shoveling sand in molds and a dozen other hot, dirty jobs that are common in a foundry. Each time I punched in I swore I would go to college. I respected and admired the men who literally worked their hearts out there, but I knew I did not want it to be my future.
