Glad to see so many posting here have their eyes open to obama the pied piper of our time...not my leader or my president...I would not follow him across the street...his followers are just like the pied pipers and will gladly follow him right over the cliff...the "Hope" I have for the country is for The Strong People of this country. We are many and do not need the tyranny of Govt control around our necks...the silent majority is alive and well and will be heard from when the time comes.

@YouMakeNoImpactOnMe. I could care less if you read one, none, or all of my posts. Also you do not impress me at all with your slant on our miserable Demander-In Chief. You can love him all you want, as for me, I cannot stand him. He is wrecking our country and you are one of the idiots that voted for him. I hope you can still smile after he takes everything we have and destroys it. You are one of the chosen few that thinks Obozo is so great, wrong again. Yes I am a human being you piece of human increment. I am almost 70 and if you think I am going to listen to your crap, you are "Wrong! Other than what I just stated, I have nothing good to say about you!

Coal says coal is the largest employer, BIOYA turkies!:

"According to the West Virginia Mine Safety Office, there are over 23,500 people employed in the coal mining industry with a total coal production of over 39,274,552 tons mined in 2010.

The employment figures don't take into account that there is another 100,000 or more people directly affected by the mining industry such as service businesses, retail shops, supply companies, mining repair companies and the list goes on.

Coal is truly king in West Virginia and many citizens depend on the mines for economic survival. Without the coal mines in many towns throughout West Virginia they would just become ghost towns."

@wvdopey. If you had read yesterday mornings paper you would have seen that miners in WV have lost there jobs. You are such a staunch dumbocrap that you do not care about no one but them. That is why we have the problems we do. But the main reason the USA is so troubled is because of our so called Commander In Chief. He is a poor excuse for a leader. You yourself are one of the reasons we are going backwards. You follow your great Messiah and no one else. And in both cases, you two are complete losers. To bad we have people like you and Obozo!

Howard, Shark, "Mr. Obama is the worst president in U.S. history". This staement is childish and totally unsupported. He has been elected to a second term by a majority of American voters. Live with it or get out. You're probably too old and feeble to do the latter.

Hey Howard, I'm with ya partner.

"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools."

Isn't it amazing how such a so-called "educated & enlightened people" have spent billion$ upon billion$ on something they coin as 'climate change' or 'global warming'? The same being no more than a THEORY. Yes, only a THEORY.

Same with Evolution. They base an entire doctrine and way of life on a THEORY, while at the same time suppressing the truth in unrighteousness.

So foolish.

So what do the people do? That's right, they give the schlickmeister 4 more years to "finish the job".

Now you know why Jesus referred to people as "sheep".

The sheeple have given themselves over to lies, deception, complacency, compromise, and uncleanness.

Mr. Obama is the worst President in U.S. history. Period. In one of the comments above someone stated he won only because he carried densely populated urban areas of the country and this is absolutely true. It's also true that in many of the precincts in these urban areas, more people voted than were registered to vote. If you noticed I refer to Obama as Mr. Obama, not President Obama. I refuse to accept this ideologue as my President. He is against almost everything I'm for and he's for almost everything I'm against. I believe King Obama or Emperor Obama would be more appropriate. Nothing more disastrous to the well being of the United States could have happened than Obama being its President. Heaven forbid, he has 4 more years to complete his destruction of this great country.

Yeah! What BigMike and WVEXPAT Said!

BS artists like WVHoopingcough keep digging up 2010 & 2011 figures when coal production was up BEFORE OBAMA"s EPA got up and running fully with its CAP and TRADE by Executive Order disaster.

Coal Production IS DOWN DOWN DOWN now, that is the FACT. The EXPORT market is the only bright spot for coal, THANKS to the US WAR on COAL.

Get the FACTS, JACK!

wvhoopie and others want America to be the Saudi Arabia of coal. Be careful what you wish for. I don't think a 3rd world country ruled by a king who's citizens live in poverty is a society that we should try to emulate.

“The technically recoverable coal resources in the United States are unsurpassed and total 50 percent of the world’s coal reserves. At 486 billion short tons, it can supply our country’s electricity demand for coal for almost 500 years at current usage rates.”

WVHoopie and others would prefer that we load this coal onto ships and transfer it to developing economies, while forcing millions of Americans into energy poverty and weakening our economy at the same time. I think this is a bad policy, but maybe I'm being selfish.
