What a waste of good breathing air. Dogs live their lives to please their owners. The hand that praises them, feeds them, pets them can never be the hand that abuses them. It is inconceivable what this person has done. I share my life with 3 wonderful dogs that are safe from miscreants like him. Like thetruthforonce says: takes a brave man to beat a little dog to death. He can run, but he can't hide.

I’m not sure about size, capability and physical ability compared to someone’s mental state temporary or constant, Some abusers are arrogant and some not, I’d say this for sure; I’m glad this Doyle was man enough to admit guilt even If he doesn’t remember the exact circumstances, He was Drunk and not on his medication (big mistake, self-medicating getting more depressed and angry)he knows he was there and responsible and didn’t lie or weasel around that fact, when asked by the judge he told the truth to its best known knowledge by him and put his fate in their decisions. The courts will judge remorse and sentence, that’s their duty not mine, wish this didn’t happen at all and am sure Toby was a fine, fine dog.

he admitted guilt because he was nailed and he knew it.also for a lighter sentence.size don't matter in a fight.anyone with experience in this would know.there's always someone badder.anybody including i can be taken down.it's not an issue here of who can do it.element of surprise plays out for the best of us.when this guy gets out and goes after someone's kid that's when we'll find out.check and see where most abusers start.small animals.no pity here.
