a-portal - one, no car dealerships exist in the city any longer. two, the one and only Ford dealer in the county has opted not do those kind of deals. Their decision, not the city's.
R-Whee - In previous articles, it's been reported that this purchase has been "scheduled" in a cycle to refresh the department's fleet and not because of the repealed ordinance.

If approved...why in the world would the city purchase the new police vehicles out of the city, yet..out of the state? Why not promote business in our own town?
