In a win-win situation both sides believe that they successfully compromised.

Oldman: "When this deal was made Boner said he got 98% of what he wanted. 98% boner 2% Obama. Even you righties should be able to do this math."
Is this typioal liberal logc?
Unless there are a fixed number of goals (say 100), and the two parties desire opposite outcomes of each goal, (i.e. Dem 100 yes, Reps 100 no)the wins for one side do not equal 100% minus % losses for the other.
With each party having their own agenda, the MATH for each side is irrelevant to the MATH of the other.
For example. Obama may have received 100% of his goals (raising taxes on $400,000+ incomes) while the Reps received 98% of theirs (restircting additional spending).
Try to understand that LOGIC.

The defense budget can be reduced soon as the planned steps are completed. Females not serving in combat positions was the reason they didn't have to register along with males for the selective service draft. Libs have taken that limitation out. It will be cheaper to pay really low wages for draft than pay enormous sums for volunteers in the future.

The Department of Homeland Security is claiming that they will have to cut-out some Border Patrol Agents with the reduction in spending! Funny thing is the goberment is trying to figure out if they are going to give amnesty to 15-20 million that are already here illegally! So why the he ll are they arguing that point?

85 billion is about 8 days of spending for the goberment! Actually it would be closer to a 2% reduction than the 8%+ that is being given by all the peeps to the sheeps!

The Federal Reserve prints over 85 billion $ EACH month with nothing backing it. Most of the money is spent buying stocks, thus propping up the stock market.

this is hilarious of obama blaming the gop for the very same agreement that he wanted and signed...he's like a little kid going from candy store to candy store and wanting all he can see...problem is when he eats too much,it's the american worker that gets sick...

$85 billion in cuts, drop in the bucket.
To put things in perspective, the interes EXPENSE on our National Debt exceeded $220 billion in 2012 and will exceed $250 billion in 2013.
The middle class worker already has 50% of their gross wages ciphoned off for various taxes and fees. Money they could use to feed their families.

The only urgency is the GOP's determination to do nothing to help the people of America. The truth is, it's better for the GOP to do nothing rather than continue feeding the wealthy, waging war, and separating Americans. This GOP is the most selfish and unproductive I've seen in years. GOP patriotism is dead.

Don't 'avoid automatic spending cuts'....it's a good thing! Feel the pain and maybe the giveaway politicians will think twice before causing this issue.
Republicans sent us off to an unfunded and unnecessary war. Democrats grew an entire class of nonworking, lazy, mooching 'takers-for-life'.
Now the chickens are coming home to roost. Excellent!

Me, worry? We are the Elite ruling class, we don't care about you peons!
Since neither party has BALWZ to make the DIFFICULT DECISIONS to cut spending, let the MANDATORY cuts happen.
Opies select committee came up with it, NOW LIVE WITH IT, sycophants!
