Unemployment Unhealthy, Too

February 21, 2013

A household environment in which no one is bringing home a paycheck is an unhealthy one. Ask anyone who’s had to cope with the challenge of feeding children healthy meals on food stamps....

story after story of Govt. Fed, State,Local wasting the peoples money with more and more programs and "laws" that are not productive. Growing costs and debts unending while piling on the costs and debts to the average citizen. Causing more and more avaerage people to become dependent upon the various Govt. programs. Our Govt. at all levels are doing a big dis service to the people. When our Federal Govt. excessive spending fails and it will, millions will be in deep trouble. Left to fend for themselves, but having no way of knowig how, since they have depended upon "the system" for years. The truth will come out, people's eyes will open, but may be to late to help at that point.

The ignorant loons in Congress need to be replaced with thinking human beings. Not one of them is introducing any kind of counter proposal or debating issues openly for all to hear. Once we get a congress with people who can think, debate and not fall for fictional stories as truh, things can and will change. All Boehner knows is vacation time for Congress and saying no. If the sequester goes as Boehner plans, the right wing extremists days will be numbered. Just the cuts coming to the airline industry will make corporate America puke. Cut backs on air traffic controllers and TSA workers will turn that industry to gridlock. The layoff of hundreds of thousands who work in the "war industry" will cripple many states and send America into recession. Our Congress is more dangerous than the Taliban.

Where do Communist Democrat's get the idea that thousands of government workers are going to lose their jobs? They are going to be given a few days off without pay. Seriously Commies, Google"Furlough". Educate yourselves and quite spewing the lies and hatred that your commie presidents keeps stuffing in your empty heads. I think that a furlough of government employees is an acceptable sacrifice since Mr. Communist President believes that we all should have skin in the game.

wvhoopie “The layoff of hundreds of thousands who work in the "war industry" will cripple many states and send America into recession.”

It’s difficult to tell from that statement which you hate worse – laying off poor “war industry” workers or employing evil “war industry” workers. I’d ask you to explain, but the last thing we need here is more hoopie blah blah blah. LOL

wvhoopie “Our Congress is more dangerous than the Taliban.”

Perhaps a drone strike is in order. Get right on that Barry Obomber.

Hoopie posts, "Cut backs on air traffic controllers and TSA workers will turn that industry to gridlock."

From ABC News, "But all the dire warnings give the impression the cuts are much larger than they actually are. Take today’s White House example: The Department of Transportation. The Department of Transportation’s budget for 2013 is $74.2 billion. The automatic spending cuts would slice $1 billion out of its budget: that is a cut of less than 1.4 percent. And consider this: even if the cuts go into effect, the Department of Transportation will spend more money this year ($73.2 billion) than it spent last year ($72.6 billion)."

Obama ground trooper Hoopie continues the deception! I'm sure all those doors she knocked on while stumping for Obama got equally accurate information!! LOL

""Cut backs on air traffic controllers and TSA workers will turn that industry to gridlock."

The FAA's share of the cutback is approx $600 million out of their $15,172 million budget (Google Dept of Transporation 2013 Fiscal budget). So if the traveling public bears the brunt, it would only be due to the FAA's spending priorities. From USA Today, "•The amount of money spent on low-priority projects hit a record $507 million in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30. That's nearly five times the amount in 1998, when the FAA established a new ranking system for airport projects.

•More than $2 billion in low-priority funds has gone to airports used mostly by private jets and piston-engine planes, including $700 million for terminals. Pellston Regional Airport in Michigan used $7.5 million in federal funds to build a terminal with stone fireplaces and cathedral ceilings. The airport averages three departures a day."

I find it somewhat hypocritical that the President accuses Republicans of not bargaining to protect private jet owners, yet threatens airport dysfunction while the FAA subsidizes unprofitable regional airports (i.e. the home of private jet owners).
