And now the bull S. coming from Washington has been downgraded to total Horse S...most Americans have already had to make cuts in their own spending thanks in part to the corruption coming from Washington DC...this small cut in Govt. overspending is long overdue..Why doesn't the Govt. just cut the pay of all Govt. employees equally and forget any layoffs? a 10% cut for all would work..probably because they really don't want the masses to wake up

Or instead of punishing the middle class as the DumPublicans want to, we could have millionaires pay the same tax rate as everyone else. Or maybe even eliminate tax loopholes for corporate America... Instead of blindly following whatever some radio demagogue tells you to believe.

I do recall John Boehner leaving the sequester talks saying he got 98% of what he wanted. So be it. Air travel next week could be interesting with the cut back in air traffic controllers and TSA workers. Get ready for inconvience air travellers. The wait time at airports could rise quite significantly! Who cares about that?

Awoke to CBS news telling us, as their lead headline, that if Republicans have their way there will be no teachers in schools, no vaccines for children, no flights in America. When I was at WLU (WLSC then)the poli sci instructor brought copies of TASS and Pravda, the Russian state press, for us to read to see what state run media looks like. Well it looks just like what we have here. Odd that in a country with a free press, the free press chooses to be state run media. Currently, the President is not responsible for gas prices or unemployment (even though Bush ALWAYS was responsible)and just a few days ago the Guberment told us that unemployment is caused by employers not hiring unemployed people. Huh? Imagine that. When the economy collapses it will not be a nice place to live...but Obama has decided that he needs to start collecting the guns early otherwise we will not want to starve to death voluntarily. What is the over/under for the death of America?

$85 billion (2.4%) is considered 'chump change' when it comes to the budget. But look at how drastic just these (2.4%) cuts alone would be to our military, air traffic, and employment.
This demonstrates three things:
1. The gov't is way too big and already has too much of the people's money.
2. $85 billion is actually one he11 of a lot of money.
3. If cutting $85 billion is so extremely painful, just imagine what cutting $17 trillion (our nation's debt which doesn't include all the unfunded pensions & entitlements)would do!!!!!!
The American sheeple should be able to see just how dire the budget situation actually is, but no, we must be knowledgeable of who in Hollywood gets an Oscar, or make sure that the Boy Scouts are populated with homosexuals and ******s are distributed in grade schools.

Our leaders are weak. None have the the guts to stand up and tell the people what needs to be done, cutting back on spending.
Eventually, they will have no choice but to cut all the wasteful spending.

The good news is, a gallon of regular gasoline remains at $ 3.79 a gallon.
But, it is still early in the week.

Gasoline @ $3.80/gal. is good news!
Actually it should be priced at about half that amount.
The left is chasing windmills, batteries, and solar panels while the nation goes to he11 in a handbasket!!!
Just another reason why the economy has no chance.
The sheeple, being willfully ignorant, refuse to connect the dots. They refuse to connect Obama & the left to a crumbling American empire.
Thinking themselves to be wise, they became fools.

wvhoopie “Get ready for inconvience air travellers. The wait time at airports could rise quite significantly! Who cares about that?”
I’ll tell you who DOESN’T care about that. The 22.4 MILLION Americans STILL unemployed or underemployed by Obamanomics don't care about wait time at airports. The 48.3 MILLION Americans now surviving on Obama Food Stamps don’t care about wait time at airports.
“Inconvience” at airports? “Wait time at airports!”? Please. Tell your Bankrupter in Chief SCORES OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS are still waiting for the hope and change. Again.

rover, so you’re saying the states with the highest percentages of low income earners don’t support the liberal “progressive” Democrit party? So maybe they actually realize it’s those liberal “progressive” Democrit policies that are killing jobs and keeping them unemployed and on food stamps? Duh...

Write down all these totally ridicules idiotic doom and gloom predictions coming from the Whitehouse, for later use against the Lbs. 10,000 teachers will lose their jobs as will 1,000 FBI, Food Inspectors, 800,000 Defense workers,1st Responders, Head Start, Meat Inspectors, and on and on and on. When these don't happen than hear how the Libs defend BO. Funny, listening to all of the people that will lose their jobs, no mention of the possible 15,000 IRS Nazi's that were just hired that will enforce the OB Care Tax on Americans.......Last one in, first one out, if there needs to be cuts.

It's clear that Obama's governing method is one dimensional. 1) Create the crisis; 2) Falsely blame the other side; 3) create fake outrage in the form of managed protests to sway public opinion. We ain't stoopid! I believe the sequester was the idea of the administration in exchange for raising the debt ceiling. They are counting on the public having a short memory I guess.

National Debt stands a $ 16,582,000,000,000 today.
Obama owns over $ 6,000,000,000,000 of that figure. Obama's failed policies, if left unchecked will collapse the U S. Economy.
Continuing to print $ 85,000,000,000 every month, backed by nothing, will eventually have to stop.
