Rep Maxine Waters (D):

"Yesterday we did have Mr. Bernanke in our committee and he came to tell us what he’s doing with quantitative easing and that is trying to stimulate the economy with the bond purchases that he’s been doing because he’s trying to keep the interest rates low and jobs – and he said that if sequestration takes place, that’s going to be a great setback. We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these jobs losses, over 170 million jobs that could be lost – and so he made it very clear he’s not opposed to cuts but cuts must be done over a long period of time and in a very planned way rather than this blunt cutting that will be done by sequestration. "

170 MILLION jobs? We only HAVE 143 Million people working now?

DRAMA QUEEN!

THIS is getting serious!! Obama spent SEVEN whole minutes discussion the problem with Republicans Yesterday!!!! OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!

Wash Post: Never let it be said that President Obama has failed to spend time with Republican leaders in seeking an alternative to automatic budget cuts that are due to hit most federal departments Friday. On Wednesday, for example, the president gave GOP lawmakers as much as seven minutes, a rare face-to-face encounter that the White House described as a “meeting.” The White House’s characterization of this momentary huddle at the Capitol as a meeting illuminates Mr. Obama’s strategy in dealing with Republicans on the budget cuts and other fiscal deadlines.

With speeches and other staged events, the president has tried to build public pressure for his agenda of tax increases coupled with spending cuts."

PFFFFFFFFFFtttttttttttt!

Yes, the 7 minutes was more real respectful of the process. So much for Barry reaching across the aisle. I'm sure he reaches across the aisle frequently on AF1 to pass Reggie Love a blunt.

The ole bait and switch by a Chicago gangland thug. He will burn in*****eventually!

I would tend to agree with Barry Black's "prayer": "Rise up, O God, and save us from ourselves"..., (only in a different context than he was referring to)

Indeed, STOP THE PROFLIGATE SPENDING!!!!!!!!!!

Of course the Senate will reject any measure to take responsibility for spending. All they know how to do is point fingers at the folks across the aisle and blame them for everything wrong with America. Problem is, the American people have been dumbed down to the point where they continue to buy the B.S.

They all, Republicans and Democrats, need to grow a set and take responsibility for these conditions that THEY CREATED!

From Bloomberg:

Consumer spending in the U.S. rose in January even as incomes dropped by the most in 20 years, showing households were weathering the payroll-tax increase by socking away less money in the bank.

Household purchases, which account for about 70 percent of the economy, climbed 0.2 percent after a 0.1 percent gain the prior month, a Commerce Department report showed today in Washington. The median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of 76 economists called for a 0.2 percent advance. Incomes slumped 3.6 percent, sending the saving rate down to the lowest level since November 2007.

BY THE MOST IN 20 YEARS!

I want to hear that the 'perks' for all these politicians (Rep and Dem) END NOW! I'm talking the countless government airplanes that ferry them about the country and world. I'm talking about the big limo ride they get about town constantly. Close down the Congressional Dining Hall (for want of cooks and waiters, etc). In other words, let these drones see first hand what it is not to be waited upon hand & foot. This just for 'openers'.

Boehner says lots of things. If it was up to me, he would be out of there.

This is long overdue. The real question is whether the GOP can get out there and have a bunch of committee hearings in the House, and start crucifying department heads over why they can't make do with a 3% cut in their INCREASE.

CNN MONEY

"Feeling poorer?

Americans saw their income drop so dramatically in January that it marked the deepest one-month decline in 20 years.

Personal income decreased by $505.5 billion in January, or 3.6%, compared to December (on a seasonally adjusted and annualized basis). That's the most dramatic decline since January 1993, according to the Commerce Department."

Thanks Opie.

Some of you will recall that on July 8, 1947, A little more than 64 years ago, numerous witnesses claim that an Unidentified Flying Object, (UFO), with five aliens aboard, crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell ,New Mexico . This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered-up by the U.S. Air Force, as well as other federal agencies and organizations.

However, what you may NOT know is that in the month of April, year 1948, nine months after the historic day, the following people were born: Barrack Obama Sr. Albert A. Gore, Jr. Hillary Rodham William J. Clinton John F. Kerry Howard Dean Nancy Pelosi Dianne Feinstein Charles E. Schumer Barbara Boxer Joe Biden

This is the consequence of aliens drinking the koolaid progressive politic types eliminating the draft.

I truly hope this bit of information clears up a lot of things for you. It certainly did for me.

And now you can stop wondering why they support the bill to help
