3% if pretty generous in today's economic environment. Most in the private sector saw 2%. Years back, there was a stigma working for the government...today, there is a stigma working for the private sector. Gee....only in America.

Time to cut raises and benefits just like the private sector. Government can not keep living off the public by taxes and fees. The golden goose is almost dead. Too many chiefs in government at too high of pay.
