Well, well well, looks like Renzella and Simms are going to have nice memories of their last days in office.

Just the first of several lawsuits. And as usual it will fall back on the taxpayers to pick-up the tab. Renzella and Simms should not be allowed to retire they should be held accountable for this mess they created. While they will be traveling and enjoying life others will have to answer for their mistakes.

This is what happen when you elect and appoint incompetent hacks to handle hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars.

Most of these people can't make change, balance a checkbook or write a complete paragraph yet, you trust them to manage a complicated $33 million construction project?

Marshall County taxpayers-you will lose millions more because of your so-called "leaders". And you deserve what you get.

You voted these idiots into office.

You voted yes on the levy.

Time to pay the piper.

This does have a certain odor to it. There has never been any reason to think that anyone, elected or dictator in power, had the ability to handle the amount of money that is involved. The people who oppose the Board in the elections come off like comic book characters and we end with the lesser of al evils in office. Such is the result when education is political. The school is a great idea, the design is fantastic the application of the money to the project smacks of so much incompetence it makes one head spin. Now we must be vigilant that the Board does not dip in that vast bag of our money and pay the contractors off to prevent us knowing what happened. This needs to go to trial and probably in another county to keep ugly local politics from setting up the contactor again. We need to know what happened, who did what and how much did it cost us. The BOE is Marshall County's nightmare of mumbling and bumbling and a blackhole of tax money.
