Paranoia is a symptom of mental illness, therefore, all those who are afraid of loosing their guns display mental illness and are therefore ban from owning firearms.

That's what the Communists told the Russian people before taking away ALL of their rights in 1917 and making them slaves. And the Germans, and the Poles, and everywhere else your lousy Communists take hold.

Here is my idea of Gun Checks:

Give every LAW ABIDING CITIZEN who owns a gun a "check" for $50 for helping reduce the cost of law enforcement.

Gun Control: hitting what you aim at!!!!

ALL GUNS should be titled, registered, licensed just like automobiles. Any sale of any gun would have to be accompanied by a transfer of title and a new license of the weapon. This should be done for ALL guns. This in no way infringes on the Second Amendment. ANYONE CAUGHT WITH A NON TITLED WEAPON SHOULD RECEIVE A 20 YEAR PRISON TERM WITH NO EARLY RELEASE.

Universal registration would certainly make universal confiscation more convenient for you “progressives.” Next time Dianne Feinstein has a panic attack when she sees a scary gun she’ll know who has that particular model. And we all know Dianne knows best when it comes to what types of guns YOU need.

Hey libbies. Show us how it’s done. YOU set up a voluntary Government registration system and YOU register your own guns first. And YOU pay for it by paying a registration fee. Show us how great that system is. Show us how much crime it stops. Then maybe the rest of us, who understand CRIMINALS DON’T OBEY LAWS – that’s why they’re criminals, duh... – will jump on board your gun control crazy train.

Why don’t liberals EVER lead by example? YOU FIRST, libbies.

This entire thing is ridiculous. A commission on mass violence? Are you kidding me? What is that going to help solve? Typical politician.

Have any of the 'compromisers' considered the consequences of:

Godlessness?, Divorce & remarriage? Shack-ups? Gov't funded fornication? Welfare? or Relativism? This is today's America.

The solution for America is simple. One word; REPENT!!!

Blame guns. Blame violence. Blame mental illness. Blame homophobia. Blame Christianity. & blame guns again. Blame, blame, blame.

Every thing the gov't is doing is the exact opposite of what it should be doing.

The blind leading the blind.

Manchin is demonstrating what a compromiser he really is.

I've asked this question some time ago & received no response (which isn't surprising)...

Name one program that the government has initiated that has been truly effective and successful?

Name one.

Go ahead.

Still thinking?....

Go on, keep thinking....

da, da, da, da, da, da,.......

You finished thinking?.....

I thought so.

This proves that everything the gov't touches is cursed and becomes a massive he11ish ball-n-chain liability on honest hard-working people.

"By David Ingram

WASHINGTON | Wed Jan 2, 2013 5:02pm EST

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of FBI background checks required for Americans buying guns set a record in December, indicating that more people may purchase one after the Connecticut school massacre stirred interest in self-defense and prompted renewed talk of limits on firearms, according to FBI data.

The FBI said it recorded 2.78 million background checks during the month, surpassing the mark set in November of 2.01 million checks - about a 39 percent rise.

The latest monthly figure was up 49 percent over December 2011, when the FBI performed a then-record 1.86 million checks."

Seems like their doing a fine job without Manchin and his leftist pals!

Clueless, would we have to register shotguns? Because Joe “Two Blasts” Biden says we should buy a shotgun and whenever we hear noises outside we should just “walk out and put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.”

w ww.youtube.c om/watch?v=Qv63D6hJU_Y

In a Field and Stream interview, Vice Blaster Biden also advised that if “you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

So who needs an assault rifle? Joe “Blaster” Biden says we can just blast ‘em with a shotgun!

Keep in mind that Joe Blaster Biden is the man Barry "Skeet" Obumbler chose to be a heartbeat away from the nuclear trigger. Lord help us.

There will be no drastic changes. Those suffering paranoia can stop. My friend in Pittsburgh lives next door to a guy with a safe full of guns. The guy forced former girlfriend to Maryland, where he was arrested for domestic violence and with 3 loaded hand guns and 2 knives. The guy lives with is mommy, is in his 50's, and has a safe full of guns, (many unregistered). Now when there is a domestic assault, guns are suppose to be confiscated. He used a gun in the commision of crime of domestic assault. Where are his guns? safe in his safe. The law can keep those registered that they took in Maryland, and those registered can be taken, but the rest-well, they will never get. This happened right after he was fired from UPS and was a disgruntled employee. I am not in favor of taking anyones guns, but how could any law possibly monitor guns that are not registered and that are in a safe, even when the person is charged with domestic assault and is a disgruntled worker.

While the current laws state that anyone convicted of domestic assault will loose their guns forever, the law cannot just get warrants for those that are not registered. Yes, all guns need to be registered to the owner, and if sold, there needs to be proof of who they are sold to. Criminals and nuts will have to get them illegally and if caught, there needs to be time served. Keep the guns out of the hands of criminals. Those who sell them to criminals without reporting are as guilty. This guy fights with all the neighbors, but has never threatened with a weapon. Yet UPS was on high alert and had extra security after firing because of co workers reports. Yet you cannot force people into psychological evals before purchasing guns or monitor the nuts that already own illegally.

I watched a utube video of a woman bragging about all the welfare benefits in Ca and stating that her food card could be used at Subway and Domino's. Sent to me by a friend because of my opinions. At first, abuse of system is more than irritating. As I thought about it, many working families receive food cards-they have kids that deserve subway or domino's too, and working schedules need help. Yet right here in Wheeling, because of my job, I have been told by almost every food card recipient that they sell a portion of the food card for 50 cents on the dollar to a friend every month. This is how they get cigarette and toilet paper money. There is a pin number on this card so they just make a deal and share the pin. No photo ID is requested. The government cant even fix this and they know it is happening. I realize this is off the subject, but I have little faith in govt at any leveling finding any solutions. This is large scale fraud.

I do not mind my tax dollars going to families in need, or seeing that children get healthcare and our nourished. But my husband and I can make 100K per year and buy $500 worth of food card for $250 cash from a mother with 4 kids who receives nearly $1000 a month in food. Inadvertantly, the govt. is supporting me-when my couple income is 100K per year. The poor kids are not getting the food. Who with any conscience purchases these-you would be surprised. I realize the person selling them needs toilet paper too. Seems that every change they make provides for easier fraud. Govt, cant even figure out or fix-tax dollars pay $100, sold for $50 to wealty, and they do not even attempt to prevent or prosecute. I am so sick of hearing how system is being robbed. Does anybody really think they can make changes to gun laws, track illegal weapons, etc. when I just saw someone with 300K home get in BMW after using food card-ID unchecked. Recent violence brings attention. Nothing will change. Never
