It is ridiculous that a witness to an event being adjudicated, assuming they are mentally competent, cannot be called to testify for either the defense or the prosecution. This case is sounding more and more like the infamous Tawala Brawley case in NY some years ago.

This is just one of so many communities that tries to hide or ignore rape. San Diego and Los Angeles are just as bad but there are so many more rapes there it's easier to hide most of them. And lets not forget colleges that do the same thing.

The only thing that stops this is putting them on the spot and holding them accountable like the rapist. The fact that only 2 guys are on trial is a disgrace.

Ohio is full of this attitude. Just go on Craigslist in Ohio and Akron/Canton has harassed victims and those who support them.

Ohio is a haven for military and those are the same guys getting away with rape while serving so this being the attitude in Ohio isn't surprising.
