But Kessler wary of using tax dollars to raze private bridge

March 12, 2013

The Benwood/Bellaire Bridge; an on going saga which substantiates the thought that time and everything else has moved on and those little places like Benwood and Bellaire--forgotten, left with dwindling populations and ineffective local governments. No wonder so many comments about any kind of government are of the very negative variety when readers post them on this site. There is so little effective government in the valley; if Benwood had more people and people with money which equals political clout do you think this bridge would still be standing?

It's called the Belliare Bridge. Sell it to Ohio and let those idiots take care of it.

If anyone here finds out who Longwell and company are working with at the state, please print out and send them all the articles about this side show from the Intel, along with the comments that actually speak more truth than the articles. If they read them, not only will they not consider Benwood's request, but Longwell and cronies will be laughed out of the state house and become more of a laughing stock than they already are!

Who will be responsible for my pain and suffering when a rusty piece of metal hits me as I bike beneath it?

Mismanagers of the Century! They drive off a commercial company that wanted to take down the bridge and now they want Joe 'the Chump' Taxpayer to pick up the tab.

It's Moe, Larry and Frankie.

Use eminent domain to steal the bridge from its owners, then steal some of the US Taxpayers money from the Egyptian government and spend it on tearing down that bridge! This bridge saga will go down in Wv. folklore history The Legend of the Mothman, the Hatfield and McCoy feud, The Ballad of the Benwood Bridge!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Whew. Frankie you are a riot. Run out the folks who want to tear it down, then beg the state to do it. If it wasn't so sad I would be really funny. Go eat a donut you moron.
