Once again it's the NIMBY Syndrome. I'm for progress but not in my back yard. This is exactly why Wheeltown is in the dumpster.

If these people had their way back in the 50's there wouldn't be steel mills and coal mines either. How about a spirit of cooperation for the common good?

again you people get it wrong. all these folks want to know it what is going to go on there!! what if i sold you a house and told you 'you cannot look inside and you cannot see where it is?' it's common sense, you are not going to buy a 'plan, car, house, bridge, whatever without knowing what it has or offers or the overall benefits.'

What is the big secret?? Must be something they know the public won't like. Just tell what it is they are planning there.

"I believe in the process. ... If you circumvent the process, why do you have it?" said McKenzie.

Who circumvents the process more than the Mayor? It is encouraging to see the public involving themselves in the process and holding the City Council accountable.

Neighbors...you better think about your beliefs concerning capitalism and free enterprise. For example...drilling in Oglebay. Just because it's not in your back yard, doesn't mean it's ok...now you understand that much more clearly...

Tragically the desire for the almighty dollar again may trump the health and lives of the people of our community. We must rally to stop this and we can! As a lifetime resident of Warwood...It sickens me that our Mayor just says that he will "glow" from consuming the water if the Wastewater Containment Facility is permitted to be constructed just 1.2 miles north of the Water Treatment Facility, not to mention in many families backyards. Please write the DEP Permitting Supervisor Sudhir Patel- Sudhir.DPatel@wv.gov to prevent any permits being issued.

We aren't used to the veil of secrecy that shrouds the energy industry. It must be very competitive and if they manipulate a couple municipalities to their advantage along the way they will do it.

The government wants to fine you for an empty building but then they want to keep it secret about what someone wants to build by you. What if it is a drug abuse clinic or maybe a oil and gas supplier of chemicals?

This is a shady deal and we all know it and it should be illegal to do this to the citizen of Woodsdale. Just tell them the whole truth and let them decide. Now that is council's job. Conning the citizens for any reason is not.

I cannot even imagine signed up to a SECRET 'blank 'OK' to change zoning. What happens if it's a 'Slaughter House' or a 'Crematorium' or a 'Rubberoid Processing Factory'. The possibilities are endless!

Before Stuart Levy ever speaks publicly again, he should address why he has abandoned his East Wheeling property, and has allowed it to erode.

Truth is, he is against progress because he's a reason for decline.
