You're right on, Mc2011. Almost every move this group has made I was hoping was due to incompetency or having information the public doesn't know, but now I know they are a band of gypsies. Wait a minute, I better apologize to the gypsies who may be reading this.

No surprise here. Never expected the BOE to return any money to the taxpayers. What surprises me is that they needed 16.7 million in December and now need 6 million more. Perhaps it is to pay for all the lawsuits that have and will come over the debacle that is the new Cameron High School. The cuts in funding that Hartley describes were the same ones that were cited in November when they were promoting the levy so this is nothing new. Hartley sites 5 million in increased monies, Assessor Kessler cited 6 million. The extra million must be for petty cash at the county office. The current administration has shown time and time again that they care nothing for the citizens as they just continue to spend and spend. And what is even worse is the BOE who are there to represent us acts as a rubber stamp and never asks why things are done the way they are. If we ever pass another levy of any type then shame on us. If we ever re-elect these BOE members then shame, shame on us.

NOT & MIK. How right you are. Let all school boards suffer & beg. At begging the tax payers, they are experts. Those who vote Yes on levies are asking to be "HAD"

There is an easy solution to this. In the future, don't approve any levies. When a person or a group has an all or nothing approach to things - give them nothing.

And in other news the Pirate's management team will NOT lower prices after 20+ years of mismanagement and Oliver Luck will give NO refunds for incompentancy on his part this season either. .....Tell Abe Lincoln the voters in Marshall County proved his famous quote WRONG.
