This is so frustrating. I am thankful to read some honest reporting on the subject. The delegates who voted against keep saying that those in favor of medical exemptions being written by doctors (as they were just a few years ago) just need to give in more and compromise. From listening to the session, it was clear that many of the delegates were just CLUELESS about education in general. For a delegate to say that school is only for healthy children and those who cannot be vaccinated can just be schooled at home - um.... are we back in a time warp? Ridiculous. Thank you, Ryan Ferns, for fighting so hard on behalf of the parents of WV.

Here is what I find odd "Based on my direct one on one conversations with committee members, 19 of the 24 committee members supported HB 2831. There was no reason not to put it on the agenda."

19 people told Ryan Ferns they would support this bill. The vote was 12/12. 7 people lied.
