A wise old southerner once said, " races don't fall in love and get married. Individuals fall in love and get married."

What was his name again?

Oh yeah, I remember now, Martin Luther King.

Pretty soon racism won't be an issue. Between inter racial marriage/co habitation resulting in the birth of mixed race children; we will eventually end up being a diluted brown race with no sense of pride in heritage for either race.

I thought that we all belonged to the Human Race.

That other stuff is an artificial classification system set up in the past.

HUMAN RACE---LOOK IT UP.

I'm not a fan of either one of them and it's a good thing I am not. I would only be disappointed because these "stars" feel that it is their duty to project their opinions on their fans. I threw out my Springsteen collection because he campaigned for Obama. I liked his music and didn't know his politics until recently. I don't want to know if Paisley feels guilty about being white and I don't care if Cool J is angry because he was born black. Not my problem, not my reality. Slavery does not = racism. Two different things Racism. The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as Prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief. Slavery.A person held in servitude as the chattel of another. One that is completely subservient to a dominating influence. A device (as the printer of a computer). Education is the key to wiping out racism.

Perpetuating racism in America is a cottage industry for black political activists who make fortunes by setting themselves up as vote brokers for the black vote. People like Al Sharpton and Jess Jackson have made careers screaming racism while demanding racism of their followers. There is no doubt that you can find people who hate others based on race but the idea that it is bound to one race is silly. Who was the last person you heard make a racial slur? Even in a small town in WV, we don't hear them often, or at all. But we can hear them constantly in the political/ entertainment industry. Racism will not end in America until we understand that racism is not just one race. It seems that black communities want to keep racism alive, otherwise there might be discussion about their own conduct, their views on family, views on living in a community might be discussed. No, its easier, lets just yell racism all the time, mindlessly.

This passes for journalism?

DEFINE RACISM.(Get some of your cutting edge reporters to look it up.)

You WILL be able to talk about it.

Lack of knowledge is the third rail of the news industry.
