Well spoken Triton. Very good cause and services provided. Your post is very accurate and I could not have stated it as well. Hope the article draws support from the community. I too am willing to support.

This site is often populated by people who complain about government cost and incompetence and yet CASA is an organization the offers one to one advocacy for children in the justice system as victims and sometimes as delinquents. They have no government budget, they just have real people volunteering their skills and support to kids in turmoil. Wonder if any of the people who moan about government and taxes have the stones to cut a check to a bare bones social service agency with no tax money and staffed by volunteers. ONe would think that churches looking for ways to support noble service would jump in, learn more about CASA and work to keep them alive. There is no greater cause than the children and with no CASA the chaos that kids face in the system will be even more so. Imagine being eight, victimized by your own family and having no one to look to for a hand up. With all of the blah blah around today, CASA is doing the job. I am sending money, hope others do too.
