That all local runners are safe is a great thing. That people would attack something as non political as the Boston Marathan is an indicator of how far from sanity people of extremes go to make their putrid points. This country and the world suffers from extremist thinking in terms of politics and religion and those are really bad things when the two are combined. What made America great was the ability to approach society with a moderate view, a tolerant view. Today we get the rantings of the far left and far right, and the moderate people, thoe ones who just want to live out lives in peace and seldom considered. Boston is yet another example of hate whether it is domestic or foreign. I get tired of the rantings of both.

Triton, not sure if it is still being reported that authorities had a Saudi student as a "person of interest". The Muslim extremists have TOLD US that they will bring terror to the streets of the US, but DHS would rather talk about how crazy Americans are with their "rabid support" of the 2nd Amendment. How about this: Don't you think we might WANT to have guns in case of a Jidahi attack? How about focusing on our borders and these ME people - whether students or not - and check them out?

has anyone happened to think that the bomber or bombers maybe were anti marathon this point the person that did this deed could have been almost anyone for any senseless reason.. but it was not senseless to the bomber... of course everyone will blame the group of their choice to further their own agenda...what a waste of life and limb on a day being enjoyed by many. Hope they catch the sorry excuse for a bas tard.
