Duwhop- Please share the piece of legislature that claims the USA a Christian Nation. Thanks. Clearly you discount the other religions that make up our great Nation. Clearly you do not have a clear concept of this country. Please let us know the bill number, the decision, where this country has been declared a 'Christian' Nation. Not that there is anything wrong with that. LOL, BUT, just show us. Since you are so smart.

If, which is questionable, duwhop is a Christian, he would be likened to a westboro type one, cause he sure hasn't shown anything other than hate on this board. typical isolated cell of ignorance that found the NR whoa.........

Christian Founders included Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Hamilton, Franklin, Henry, Sherman, Witherspoon, Jay, Sam Adams, John Hancock.

The founding documents of each of the original 13 colonies were full of references to God and Christianity.

Students could not get into early colleges without professing their belief in the Westminster Conventions.

There was no state religion, though, because the Founders feared the power of the Catholic Church and they did not want religion to dominate public life in the US as it did in Europe.

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and Bible."

“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.”

"No people can be bound to acknowledge the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States."

“I am sure that never was a people, who had more reason to acknowledge a Divine interposition in their affairs, than those of the United States."

-President George Washington

Wonderliar, Ragnar has done such an eloquent and superb job here, all I have to add are the dry STATISTICS:

From the PEW CENTER, Based on interviews with more than 35,000 Americans age 18:

• Christian: 78.4%

• Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim : 4.7% (Muslim is 0.6% of that)

• Atheist, Agnostic, nothing: 16.1%

SO my assertion that this is CHRISTIAN NATION that tolerates other religions (or NONE) is PRECISELY correct.

Wonderliar, you are so hopelessly outclassed intellectually here, do yourself a favor and keep your silly piehole closed, else continue to suffer your Village Idiot rating.

Motive? The USA has been running undeclared wars against Muslim countries for many yrs. US military bombing other countries "terrorists" and occupying their lands. While many Muslim women and children are killed by the same bombs. There is a holy war going on. The USA is primarily a Christian nation and is at war with many muslims. The muslims know this and are making Jihad against the US. The USA should leave all those countries and stop bombing them. Bring our troops home.

(Reuters) - The two brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings, who police say engaged in a gun battle with officers early Friday after a frenzied manhunt, were not licensed to own guns in the towns where they lived, authorities said on Sunday.

In the confrontation with police on the streets of a Boston suburb, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were armed with handguns, at least one rifle and several explosive devices, authorities say.

But neither brother appears to have been legally entitled to own or carry firearms where they lived, a fact that may add to the national debate over current gun laws. Last week, the U.S. Senate rejected a bill to expand background checks on gun purchases, legislation that opponents argued would do nothing to stop criminals from buying guns illegally.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, who was killed in the shootout with police, would have been required to apply for a gun license with the local police department where he lived in Cambridge, Massachusett

Wonderliar, how many times do you have to be TOLD that the writers of the Constitution, the FOUNDING FATHERS of the the United States, were CHRISTIANS who formed a country based on Judeo-Chritian ethics and principles.

But since they came from a CHRISTIAN COUNTRY, name ENGLAND, that allow only ONE VERSION, they were wise enough to keep government from ESTABLISHING an OFFICIAL FEDERAL RELIGION.

As I have told you many times before, at the time the USA was FOUNDED, there were MANY STATE RELIGIONS that were LEGAL at the time. PA was a "Quaker State", Georgia was Baptist, etc. etc.

It's too late now for those brain-washed idiots to take that BS religion back their own screwed up country. It sure does not belong here. Yeah, the US welcomes all... but really is that wise? I think not.
