sonofsaf-You are right on.

The state governments are not concerned or making connection that more kids are going without, mortgages late, utilites shut off, which all leads to welfare fraud, false insurance claims, and other white collar crimes among those effected by the "bad gambling".

From what I have seen, this is as bad or worse than Hair-O-Win. There is no WIN. All loose and eventually the state will too. There is a much bigger problem here.

What this boils down to is the new casino owners are not liking any competition at all.

It's good to know that DeWine's mission to outlaw Internet cafes in Ohio will free up the necessary police resources to solve murders and rapes, investigate ****** abuse, etc.

I've always found it painfully amusing how our govt. makes the distinction between good gambling and bad gambling.

Church bingo, raffles, casinos, the state lottery, derivatives, scratch-off tickets... these are okay.

Wagering on football, online gambling, backroom poker games... these are not okay.

DeWine is part of a larger, more insidious campaign - the new wave of government extortion. These "crackdowns" are indicative of a much bigger problem, the extraction of money form the private sector under the guise of "cleaning up the morally depraved underground." Ohio is once again, ground zero.

When DeWine's successful, it'll spread to West Virginia. Just an obvious prediction.
