Luckily it was a knifing and not a shooting. Otherwise the cooler head might not have been able to walked away from the situation.

Too bad the victim wasn’t carrying concealed or we could have just dug a hole and dumped the knife-wielding low-life’s bullet-ridden body in and saved a bundle on prosecution and incarceration.

And I hope the bum respected the 7-stab limit on that assault knife.

Yeah, too bad that responsible bar Paton was not carrying. Iowa st, I am guessing that crap hole, turd alarm, which has generated how many shootings? But I could be jumping to conclusions. It could be class acts all around.

must be many crap hole bars polluting that area.

Maybe they should close all neighborhood bars and turn downtown into a strip of bars and owners can relocate them all-like Carson street. Then we can run shuttle bus service and keep cabs busy. Keep all the drunk corraled-nothing else will happen downtown.

Clearly Alphacentaur does not know the Island very well, since Iowa Street is at the complete opposite end of the Island than 3rd. Get a clue, think 'bar' across from Stadium

Trollslayer, too bad the victim wasn't carrying a gun? While drinking in a bar...are you serious?

Yes, carrying a loaded gun is perfectly acceptable when drunk, nothing could go wrong there.

No one is advocating we ban knives or stricter laws on knife ownership, because people don't typically die from knifings. Some of you are beyond hope.

Centrist, the article doesn’t say the victim was drunk. So do you know he was, or did you just make that detail up? And do you maintain you lose your right to self-defense because you’re coming out of a bar? Duh...

Centrist “people don't typically die from knifings” People don’t typically die from shootings, either. But if a knife-wielding maniac dies because a victim shoots him I’m not going to lose any sleep over that.

Ok ov, you are right. I got my streets mixed up. So it was the home of the dancing prostitute. Does not change the fact that the true alarm is a craphole, as is cod father's. While we are at it, the sportsman, just for Gs, I mean GnG, legion at 15th and the omega are all the biggest turds in town.
