Search warrants like these are just court orders to obtain records that cannot be released by the person holding them. Like student records, counselor notes and personnel records. The news exaggerates this. For sure, DeWine and his people are investigating but the fact that search warrants were issued and served on the Board and the record holders is not a big deal police operation, they are just getting records to see if there was knowledge of this act and that someone in power should have acted. Be interested to see that information, but its not a "raid" its just procedure. The action will happen when charges are presented to the grand jury. If there is record of the football coach talking about it to someone in the Board, that would be the first evidence of value linking him to anything criminal. Neat to watch but no need to go nuts til the time is here.

Did they obtain phone records of the adults involved? How about search warrants for the homes where the parties were held?
