Was at S Side Works in Pittsburgh and listening to band in afternoon and watching kids run through sprinkler. A group of women apparantly and were having glass of wine. I was shocked. One would be arrested in wheeling for certain. They would have been drug away by their hair and publically humiliated. Guess thats why pittsburgh can have such places and we cannot. Been many such places and never seen any trouble. Blues Fest does not attract drunks and fights. Our waterfront has potential that will never be known-its not the alcohol, its the harrassment.

I think if a person wants to have a beer say at the waterfront why not. They do it anyway and police don't arrest them unless they cause a problem. any one causing a problem can and will be arrested for public intoxication any way so I don't see any big deal here at all.
