Here is an immediate cost savings.

1) Announce to all career welfare wards that, 12 months from today, all welfare, food stamps, free health care and housing subsidies will end. They will receive 12 months assistance in training or education and that is it.

2) Tear down any and all public housing throughout the state or sell it to a private developer.

3) Ban the use of HUD, Section 8, etc. in decent areas and absolutely refuse to provide this sort of funding at the state level.

4) Provide drug, career, skills, job, etc. counseling-at no charge-to those who can work, but refuse to do so.

5) Crack down on workers comp, disability, etc. fraud and put some people in jail for 20 years to send a message.

6) Shut down the pill mill doctors who make massive amounts of cash by writing scrips for narcotics for any*****with greenbacks.
