There is more to this story than what meets the eye. Do any rational people really believe that these girls were kidnapped and lived for a decade just a few blocks from their homes?

My own gut instinct is that they willingly went with these guys and enjoyed their lives but that the men began to abuse them and destroy their self-esteem and then they didn't want to go home. Maybe they had Patty Hearst syndrome.

In the same way, I think that Elizabeth Smart was not telling the truth about what happened to her. It is very difficult to keep a person enslaved without tying them up. How many people would walk around a house, a few blocks from where they live, knowing that people missed them and worried about them, and NEVER had a chance to contact anyone, for TEN YEARS?

Something is rotten in Denmark.

Now now the perpetrators are Hispanic so this is not politically correct to denounce them.

This is cultural in Mexico, real men beat and rape their women, so you just don't understand other cultures.

(I am just practicing my liberal side here.. how am I doin'??)

This is too horrible a story to be grist for political slurs. I makes me physically ill. We all have Mothers, Wives and Daughters. This should not happen in a civilized society.

I would hope the Governor of Ohio would appoint a learned team to investigate crimes of this nature rampant against girls and women in the State. Yes, and include crimes against helpless men also like the abduction of the unemployed job seekers who were robbed and shot to death. Perhaps Ohio needs new blood at the top of State Law Enforcement. Investigate and let the chips fall where they may.

It is really bizarre to know that 3 brothers would all participate in this for over a decade, but I am sure that is the case with many missing. I am so glad these women are free. Ten years is a very long time, particularly when it is more than half their life. Stories like this remind me why I have been so over cautious with my own. Prayers for these young women and their families

Well, hopefully the kidnappers, torturers, rapists will endure a lifetime of the same.

these women must be strong willed to survive for ten years. I hope they can do well now that they are out of that H. hole of torture. Mr. Ramsey did a fine thing in helping them out from their yelling. Many would just turn their backs.
