THIS is the best congress has to do to spend their time? no wonder Obama and his gang get to do just about anything they wish. The real problem is we have too many morons in this country that do not even care what our so called leaders are doing. We need more people to wake up before it's too late. I used to be proud of this country. Before Clinton, Bush, and Obama. It just keeps sinking. Soon it will be lower than Mexico.

Have you read the bill itself? You'd have to agree to it. You have a choice and if you are union it has to be apart of your collective bargaining agreement. Pretty cut and clear to me. Save me up for a nice vacation in the summertime with kids.

Clearly none of the people who are against this actually work overtime.OT pay pretty much all goes right to taxes so it's hardly worth working it. At least with this measure the WORKER could actually get something out of the extra time they put in instead of the government just getting more tax money.

WAAAAAH! Poor weak little baby Clueless needs mommy to negotiate with the big bad all powerful companies. They are just evil people with nothing to do other than manipulate their employees to make their life miserable so moral will suffer and the company will not be productive.

Cali had a rule for a while that employees could trade time to work than 8 hours a day without OT as long as it did not exceed 40 hours per week.

Employees and employers loved it.

Unions hated it and got it killed.

This is a bad bill. Employees will be at the mercy of the company. Most companies will put stipulations as to when the "comp"time can be used, or that you have to have 40 hours of "comp" time before you can use any of it, or that it must be taken in 1 week increments. Just another way to STICK IT TO THE WORKERS.

Instead of making a new bill why not add to this bill ( Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) that employees can bank overtime for time off if they choose when "they" want the time off. Not when an employer forces them to.
