The arresting officer who fired his weapon will be interviewed to ascertain the circumstances justifying the action. In all likelihood his actions will be determined to have been appropriate. However, there will be a field investigation to identify the possibility of innocent bystanders having been placed at risk. When an officer tells you to stop, do what he/she says. The officer is not a mind reader and must assume that you pose a danger to him and others. And remember, they are not trained to wound.
