Don’t Use Party Labels for Judges

Judges and state appellate court justices should be selected without regard to political party affiliation. Ohio has it half right in that respect — but needs to finish the job....

If there are no party labels, how is the average voter supposed to know how a judge reasons? Liberal or conservative? Or should we just throw darts at their names on a board?

I always look up all of the candidates on the PC to look at their track record. It's a little time consuming but much better than voting by party affiliation.
