On Friday, ABC News’s Jonathan Karl revealed the details of the editing process for the C.I.A.’s talking points about the attack, including the edits themselves and some of the reasons a State Department spokeswoman gave for requesting those edits. It’s striking to see the twelve different iterations that the talking points went through before they were released to Congress and to United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice, who used them in Sunday show appearances that became a central focus of Republicans’ criticism of the Administration’s public response to the attacks.

Over the course of about twenty-four hours, the remarks evolved from something specific and fairly detailed into a bland, vague mush.

Maybe the answers will be in Hillary Clinton's new book, oldcan.

You know, the one where she admits she is a Lesbian, she has falling down episodes because she has brain cancer, and the one that tells about all of Bill Clinton's illegitimate children ("b*stards") he has fathered.

Coming soon.

Obama and hill are two of a kind. The kind of person that coming home to find their house on fire and knowing their family is inside, does not enter for FEAR for themselves. A passerby asks them if they need to call the fir dept. Obama and hill answers are the same. NO. There's nothing that can be done. All the while they are thinking: wow, wonder how long it will take for the insurance companies to pay me for my loss. These two are evil. Plan and simple and will do anything to gain more power over the country. Yes, even kill.

A Dem Senate was responsible for the final spending bill and the State Dept was responsible for prioritizing resources.

Liberal talking point eliminated!!

"repug congress voted down 330 million for diplomats security."

From CNN, "the final bill, after being worked on by the Democratic-led Senate, put in more money than what had passed in the House. The final bill, which passed with bipartisan support, gave a total of $2.37 billion to these accounts for fiscal 2012"

So the FINAL bill was approved by a DEM led Senate on a bi-partisan vote!!

And to re-enforce the point of State Dept accountability on prioritizing spending, "the State Department's former point man on security in Libya told the House Oversight Committee that he asked for additional security help for the Benghazi facility months before the attack, but was denied." "The request for 12 agents was rebuffed by the regional director of the State Department's Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Nordstrom testified."

So we see the truth of the matter. A Dem Senate was responsible for the final spending bill and the State Dept was responsib

Nice try, but the State Dept determines there own internal budget and where money is spent. From the Hill, "Another aide with knowledge of the State Department’s efforts to improve security said the consulate in Benghazi, where Stevens and other Americans died, was considered a “temporary facility.” It was not on the administration’s request list for structural improvements for fiscal 2012 or 2013, according to the source."

So the Benghazi facility wasn't even ON the budget list for spending!

Try again!

It still amazes me that there are people out there that still support Obambam. He never takes responsibility for anything. Has solved nothing. Note that anyone can spend a trillion dollars. He covers up any mistakes and has no accountability. When he talks he lies. His IRS attacks his enemies. Wow is all I can say.

I never thought Nixon would get kicked out of office at the time, but was glad he did leave. If congress does it's job, both Dems and Repubs, then Obama will be gone by next year. Or maybe they will just sit on their behinds and let him stay. US Forces could have been their to help within 3hrs.

Those killed in Benghazi were at the very least ALLOWED to die without lifting a FINGER to help them!!!

And having seen the CIA operate around the world I can say that the more likely was that these people HAD to be silenced for some reason

They simply knew too much!!

Whether it was gun running to terrorist cells or something else going on, the CIA and EVERYONE in this administration was FULLY aware of what was going on from the SECOND things went down!!!!

ALL involved MUST be removed from office immediately and charged with MURDER!!!!

what does it matter? Well, Yes, it matters. Just like the dog chasing a rabbit when he stopped in the middle of the road to take a dump and then got run over. It matters. The dog in this case is a female one called Clinton among another name for a female dog. And her owner is a half white, half black person that only cares about himself. But hey, he can get another female dog to play with after he is completely finished with hill..

CBS: Hicks told investigators that SOCAFRICA cmder Lt. Col. Gibson & his team were on their way to board a C-130 from Tripoli for Benghazi....prior to an attack on a second U.S. compound “when [Col. Gibson] got a phone call from SOCAFRICA which said, ‘you can’t go now.....you don’t have the authority to go now.’ And so they missed the flight… They were told not to board the flight, so they missed it.” The Obama Administration has said everything was done that could have been done to help the Americans under attack in Benghazi.

ABC News has obtained 12 different versions of the talking points that show they were extensively edited.... White House emails reviewed by ABC News suggest the edits were made with extensive input from the State Department. WH Press Secretary Carney Nov 28,2012: “The White House and the State Department have made clear that the single adjustment that was made to those talking points by either of those two institutions were changing the word ‘consulate’ to ‘diplomatic facility’ because ‘consulate’ was inaccurate.”

This was a lie.

And reading thru the Media Matters article (Google "Krauthammer Whitewashes Bush's History To Bash Obama Over Embassy Attack"), it appears NO Americans were killed in the "attacks"! One of which was at an empty building!! From the Media Matters article, "2007: Grenade Launched Into U.S. Embassy In Athens. From The New York Times:

An antitank grenade was fired into the heavily fortified American Embassy here just before dawn today. The building was empty, but the attack underscored deep anti-American sentiment here and revived fears of a new round of homegrown terror."

Maybe people should research their handed down talking points a little more!!

Hoopie, Media Matters claims "But Seven U.S. Embassies And Consulates Were Attacked Under George W. Bush", but why worry about accuracy. No Ambassadors were killed under Bush and the Bush Admin didn't lie to the American people for election year face saving purposes!

This is going nowhere and everyone knows it. The outrage and accusations from the right wing extremists is pure BS. When will the investigations begin on the 13 Embassy's that were attacked under the Bush administration? 96 people were killed in those attacks on our embassy's. Where's the outrage on those killings? Pure political BS...that's why this issue is going nowhere and everyone knows it...
