Drug abuse effects all of us, even if not around kids, on public assistance, etc. Eventually, it will have an impact in one way or another.

give these people all the drugs that they can do and you'll fix this.unless they have a job there isn't any reason to waste money on rehab.

It is because of the dangers and abuse that patients have to come to clinic daily. We need more in patient clinics/rehabs that actually work and are not punishing (dirty, no therapy, sit around and do nothing) This is not just Ohio. If we put the money in to common sense rehab, our prisons might not be full past capacity. There are a percentage that will never recover, but there is a larger percentage that will never have the chance. Look at Suboxone- said it was great, and its being sold on street after being provided to clients who are under care and screened. That wheeling dr that started the suboxone clinic is no longer here is he?

If you consume illegal d r u g s, and you are not on public assistance, not around children, not driving a vehicle or operating equipment then you should not be prosecuted.

HOWEVER, if you fail a mandatory d r u g test, you should lose benefits for life.

If you commit a crime to get money for d r u g s, you should get life in prison.

If you OD due to illegal d r u g use, you should not get free health care.

Beyond that, you should not go to jail for killing yourself.

I wish the author was listed because this is perfect. It says in two paragraphs what I've been trying to put into the right words for years. I'm going to use this in every argument I make for the opening of more Ohio clinics. Thank you to Intelligencer and the author of this post specifically.
