Triton, once again you have it correctly stated.. The big O may have crapped his bed this time. with the AP deal coming out even his media cheerleaders are upset.. now some Dems are turning against the pres. rightly so.. to save their own political skin they may have to.. this is shaping up like Watergate.. will be interesting to see if our Govt. system still works as it did with Nixon.

I think that the White House is hoping to make this sound like some runaway bureaucrat did this all on his own, but thats not very likely or even possible. That it was happening, that it did happen was known at the very top of the agency and that is the part that reports to the President and his staff. To accept that the President did not at least know that it happened and was being covered up, means you see the President as a dummy figurehead who is run like a puppet by his supporters or staff. Obama is trying to get out in front on this to make it taste OK to his mindless followers, but in fact, this is one of the most serious things that have happened in decades in terms of freedom in America. The last time was Nixon. If he is to retain any credibility, Obama must slaughter those who did this in his name, but may not be able since he may have known it also. If you do not see this as a hideous abuse of power than you have allowed your politics to drive you nuts.
