Maybe the city is finally starting cancer treatment. Chief of Police next??? Until the city removes those who fail to get results nothing will change.

Results?

What results? Government legally confiscates the citizen's money and is non-profit; it ain't no dammmnnnn for-profit business.

Strategic plans? Vision? Why is government mired down in all the same bullshiat the private sector proudly displays as if the citizen or customer really gives a shiat?

People simply want others to do their dammnnn job.

When the citizen calls city hall they expect to talk to a real live person on the other end who knows how to get something done.

When they go in to a store, all they want is to find a product (that they are looking for), at an honest price.

All this hi-powered leadership/management 'jargon' is nothing but a bunch of bullshiat!

Whatever happenened to good old-fashioned customer service and hard work?

No plan is a good plan!

What results? Uh, maybe run the thugs out of town. Get the drug problem under control. Get the budget under control so the don't have to close any more fire stations. Make sure the football players don't rape any more children. etc. etc.

who could actually come in and do this job? steubenville has been in a state of decay for 30 years and someone's supposed to fix it.ditch digger would be an easier job.somebody try and manage steubenville.a job i don't think many people want.it seems that the managers from cleveland and chicago are running this town.too much clean-up work needs done.

The city manager is like the CFO of a company. Their job is to watch the spending, justify the spending and keep the budget balanced with in the income of the city and city jobs are done right.

The mayor and council are in charge of making sure the citizen have enough police, fire, and roads and repairs and don’t go wild with spending of unnecessary items. Somewhere the jobs got mixed up and some think they are designers of city and think money is no object in building sport complex and other wasteful project. Just like the citizen live within their budgets the business sector are the ones that should step up to pay for the frills since they work with a profit off of the citizens and government and do not or should not expand the taxes for frills.

The city should look into what the going rate for a city manager is and what is reasonable cost to pay to have this job done in a city of 30000. What happens if you have a CM leaves or can no longer perform the job. It is the council duty to have a plan on how to approach the lost. The plan should not be just to up the wages to maintain jobs at any level.

The child should not be able to demand a bigger allowance or they are moving out.
