Few people we know can be as persistent as Robert “Scat” Scatterday of Wheeling. When he wants something for the good of the community, he simply will not take “no” for an answer....

Scat has been an example of good citizenship for the region. He has unselfishly given freely of his time and energy to make life better for those living in the valley. Thanks, Scat!

So far, all I have seen is pictures in the news an him trying to run everything. Now, all you people can condemn me for not bowing down.

richard, Scat gets his picture taken, because he is directly involved in efforts to improve life in the community. I am certain that he would be more than happy to have others be the center of attention - and the center of civic responsibility. Perhaps yourself?

I just wish the man would quit telling people about what he does.

Oh, and if he nearly hits me again this summer with that golf cart on the riverfront, I'm reporting him.
