There are twice as many on patrol, right? One man per cruiser. That's why they wanted that passed. To have better coverage. And besides, Wheeling cops just hit the lights to get through an intersection.

Oh Bossman, you know... If you read the article it clearly states why it's needed and/or why it was established. Assists officers with quicker administrative tasks. No more driving off of a district or patrol area to go downtown. In the instance of an alarm call, burglary, robbery and other violent crimes, if an officer was within their patrol area doing admin tasks, it would result in even faster response times.

I don't know bossman...the lights in Wheeling are ridiculously slow and not conducive to traffic flow..

Besides...the PD is trying to drum up business from every citizen in town.

Waste of money. You can get anywhere in this city in less than 20 minutes of driving time. And with the population shrinking, why do they need this.
