Funny stuff! "653 miles of roadways have unacceptable levels of congestion, Wes Stafford with the engineering consulting firm CDM Smith told the commission."

"Blue ribbon" commission....Just another way for your elected goberment to blame the coming tax hike on....

The Panel needs to admit that the frackers have destroyed many roads and needs to make them pay for it. Oil and gas industry always gets exempted from responsibility and subsidized one way or another but if they had to clean up their messes they would be bankrupt!!

Now is the time to put a surcharge on the wet gas to pay for the damage the gas companies and driller have done on their way to the wells. Is this the same government group that came up with taking off the fee on the turnpike, which would cost the state about $60,000,000 lost of revenue.

I wonder if we should be testing our representatives reading and math skills instead of the children. They believe taxes will fix everything but it would just take $400 from everyperson to fix this problem. Now then the county will increase the tax and of course Wheeling is already working on that problem. Taxes will help to encourage people to leave and who will pay the overpaid government. Maybe government should cut cost first by just having the legislature meet every two years.

WV sounds like the IRS when it comes to collecting taxes they leave a lot of missing money out of state. Questions 1. When do out- of-state worker pay WV taxes for working in WV and using the road? 2. Why does WV take the reported numbers from the gas wells once a year from the companies for tax purpose? Trust but verify?. 3. Why are Corporation taxes going down and citizen’s taxes keep going up? 4. Why do government raises and benefits exceed the private sector? 5. When are we going to get a government for the people instead of for special interest?

if this thing passes we'll know that our politicians are under the mighty dollar of the gas companies.we were told how many times that the gas companies would maintain the roads that they are using.it's funny that we teach our kids not to lie.
