June 7, 2013

The freedom to say what we think, no matter how repugnant to others, is one of the greatest glories of our system of government. It also is the foundation supporting our other liberties....

The law is the law. There is no such thing as right & wrong. The courts decide and their opinions change year by year.At one time slavery was legal, homo's had to hide in the closet, abortion was illegal and any number of laws have been reversed. What tomorrow brings--Who knows.

You are so stupid, immature and blind that you equate my statement of fact (the 22nd Amendment) and my demand for equality for all citizens of this Republic with.....racism?

Grow up, stop suckling from Mommy and get job. Maybe somewhere along the way, you will get an education.

You are typical of braindead liberals. We will say whatever we want. Then, if someone posts a FACT (see 22nd Amendment), we will cry "racist!"

That is so played out.

It seems YOU are the racist because you assume that I am white or a male. You don't know anything about me so racism must be the only reason you make such an assumption.

I have never said that this moron (who is a prime Obama voter) did not deserve to go to jail.

I merely stated that threatening the President should be the same crime as threatening any other citizen.

The President is not above us not matter how much you want to treat his scrotum like the ice cream cone your mommy buys you.

Yes, how DARE I compare one American citizen (me) with another American citizen (Soetero)!

Please tell me exactly what I said that would make you believe that I am a "moron".

I mean, I take that as a compliment. After all, liberals like you spent 8 years calling George W. Bush a "moron" while claiming that he tricked you and outsmarted you!

Care to refute the 22nd Amendment or did you walk yourself into oncoming traffic?

Typical liberal pansies-very good at name calling and such but very bad at logic, debate, reason, facts or statistics.

The President is not above us. If you think that, I have no doubt that you cruise dark alleys, looking for something to put in your mouth.

I believe in FREE SPEECH. I don't believe in threatening to kill the president. But, I do believe ithat if I don't like someone or they don't like me, come out with it. Nat Origin, religion, race, gender etc is free game for comment. As long as I don't actively do no harm. How many Dems cuss Repubs and visa versa ?? Oh, they are fair game. Remember, Sticks & stones. Free Pseech-- Not anymore.

22nd Amendment, Section 1:

"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

What this means, truth, is that one can serve as President for a maximum of 10 years.

Now, don't you feel stupid for running your mouth before you've done your homework?

As for Hooplehead, what is your point? As usual, you don't have one.

If you believe that the President is not the equal of the average citizen, you are truly ignorant. He serves in an office, yes, but our Constitutional Republic requires that all citizens have equal rights. Therefore, this elected figurehead is not above the law or entitled to special treatment.

We are all citizens, thus, it is a crime to threaten our lives. And that punishment should be equal, across the board

The punishment for sending a threatening letter to the President should be EXACTLY the same as the punishment for threatening any other person.

The President is not a king and we need to stop treating him like one. He is merely an elected figurehead with (in theory) limited powers and a maximum 10-year limit in office.

All of this pomp and special rights and benefits is BS. Let him retire with Secret Service protection and nothing else. Every single one of our ex-Presidents are millionaires.
