Indeed it was a colossal waste of time and money! $50 million tax dollars spent on parties and lavish trips while many hard working Americans were struggling to pay bills and put food on the table.

But I guess I can see the Liberal point of view. Much like unions, the public sector excels at spending other peoples money to their own benefit. It's business as usual to Liberals, so yes no big deal!

When Nixon was charged with using the IRS against political enemies, it was enough to wind up on the articles of impeachment.

Owebama could rape a nun and put it on YouTUBE and his Sycophants would clap and claim it was good for her.

What a colossal waste of time and money. Nothing will come of this because nothing happened. What needs to be done is repeal the nonprofit status of every single political group, right, left, independent, all of them. But since Congress has nothing else to do, except maybe "JOBS", Boehner will do nothing, get nothing done, and waste millions more on an investigation into nothing. Boehner said his number one priority was JOBS but has done absolutely nothing. Boehner will go down as the worst speaker in American history.

So they & other gov agencies spent many million dollars. Consider what Obama & family spend. How much does it cost to fly to Oklahoma to "LOOK" at storm damage?? He and others must be taking lessons from Biden.

This is taxpayer dollars wasted by just one department of government. Can you imagine how much is being wasted by the dozens of other departments?

Congress needs to start investigating all the other departments. If they don't do it, maybe the Tea Party can!

It is likely that no laws where broken because the IRS has nearly ultimate power over us. We as citizens, trust that this power will not be abused as we dutifully share much of our earnings with the gov. Its about trust and this trust was broken as a political tyrant (that would be Obama) decided to abuse that trust and use gov power to crush dissenters and free speech. Its so much worse than Watergate where Nixon accessed IRS info to learn about potential witnesses. No ordinary citizens were harmed and Nixon's misuse of that trust drove him from office. We no longer trusted him. Now we see Obama abusing our trust on a monumental level, tapping phones, running a secret government. Will we see justice? Will we see him removed from office as Nixon was? His 2nd term has already failed, he has lost not just our confidence, but our trust. In America, Gov cannot rule without trust and that is gone. Each day brings more shocking conduct. For trust to return, Obama must go. Too bad.

Granted the IRS has made some dumb moves but take a look at a couple other items; where was the vice president during super bowl weekend and who picked up the tab? What did it cost the taxpayers for the first lady and family to spend another week in Hawaii once the President returned to DC? Why does it cost the taxpayers $60 million dollars a year to run the White House. You can bet the farm none of these perks see the light of tax return income.
