Clearly there are situations were a suspects guilt is more blatant than others. However, I'm sure there have been numerous situations where lives have been ruined through false accusations and the ensuing stigma of those accusations, regardless of innocence. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. You can't cherry pick the law based on the suspect and crime.
