Loving A State Like A Father

Sometimes we don’t recognize how good our fathers were to us and how much we liked being around them until they’re gone, either because they’ve passed away or we’ve moved away....

I agree choking. Although I do see a analogy. If we had the stats on how many children have been abused and molested by their fathers and those who grew up fearing the*****out of the drunk fathers that came home and wreaked havoc on all, then I can can see the other side of why people do not trust state officials so much. Nobody had their back then, and nobody has it now. Just another view from someone who works with abused people in West Virginia.

a state is not a parent and the images of such references from WWII are just not positive ones. Cut out the anthropomorphism and have a look at the state seal..who holds up the state of WV? Farmers and miners who are actual people..lets treat them better!
