Not to downplay Mrs. Nutting's efforts but it is very easy to be a pillar of the community when you marry a guy with nine figures in the bank.

What has she really accomplished? Some of these historic buildings would fetch $300,000 in Pittsburgh and $1 million in San Fran. Yet, the city is being demolished and Wheeling is getting a taxpayer funded playground for Wheeling Central and more Section 8 scum housing.

The Nuttings are NOT stupid people. That is why they have upwards of $100 million invested in the Pirates (out of state) and spent more than $300 million to buy Seven Springs (out of state).

This is long overdue. Ms. Nutting really is the Mother of Wheeling Preservation. She put up a hard fight. Yet most of the inner City has been demolished. Much more would have gone without Ms. Nutting efforts. She is much more deserving of recognition than some others being(oddly) lavished with attention at WVIH. Thank You Ms. Nutting for you work.
