True or false. You seek permission from the fox to raid the chicken coop and the chicken to raid the fox den ? California voters said "NO" officially and the courts have overturned the people .

Every day's news makes me want to puke. When this country is in the sewer, liberals will rejoice.

Look at the breakdown on the Prop 8 case's 5-4 decision. Both Roberts and Scalia were in the MAJORITY in this case. Both catholics. Both conservative. Go figure. By voting to dodge the issue, they gave the good guys a win!

wonderliar, "homophobic" implies "fear".

Why should I be afraid of girly boyz who don't reproduce? Just fewer welfare spawns that I need to support!

This ruling should have a significant impact on divorce settlements. The couple and court will first have to decide which person was the f***er and which was the f***ee, and then allocate the creams,******, and miscellaneous gadgets accordingly. Who will get the dog and children?

However, as far as the issue behind the vote, I will interject this:

I do not agree with same-sex marriage. Through my Faith in God, I believe that marriage is the union of a man and woman.

However, I believe that same-sex couples deserve equal protection under the law, which is what they are really seeking. Anyone who takes time to really listen to their arguments easily understands this. Same-sex couples are no less capable of being in love and sharing their lives together than heterosexual couples are and, therefore, should hold equal protection under the law as pertains to insurance benefits, pensions, Social Security benefits, estates, etc. as they are seeking.

wvujeff: Equal protection yes, but why is marriage necessary to afford them the rights you mentioned? Just add a box on the IRS form: married, single, same sex relationship. Most companies are now recognizing these relationships.

Of course Wonder is not for or against gay marriage the same as she is not for or against abortion. The bible verses are directly on point. It doesn't matter if any wish to ignore them it twist them to suit their needs. To ignore them and not tell the truth is to condemn the many. God will judge from His Word, not your interpretation. So keep on humming your happy tune Wonder. It won't last.
