Another thing: This article, as does at least one concerning the GreenHunter facility appearing previously, again uses the weasel phrase: "radium, uranium and radon are considered radioactive". They ARE radioactive. There's no "considered" about it.

Since this article brings the subject up, data presented by the United States Geologic Survey, in their 2011 report: "Radium Content of Oil- and Gas-Field Produced Waters in the Northern Appalachian Basin (USA)", demonstrate that the radium content, and thus the radioactivity, of frack flowback from the Marcellus can be much, much more than Mr. Jack's dismissive "miniscule"; far higher, in fact, than legal standards for industrial effluent. Further, even though GreenHunter "saw" their "revenue grow 279 percent over the past year", as can be discovered, for instance, via Yahoo Finance, they had a net loss of 8.5 million bucks during the first quarter of this year, as compared to a net loss of 0.8 million bucks during the same quarter last year. Why are their losses mounting if their revenue is increasing? And, if they lose money, year over year, are they going to be reliable business partners for the Wheeling area?
