Who were the idiots who voted NO on the poll about violence increased in the Ohio Valley the other day?

At 3:22 a.m. We can assume the victim was in his pajamas and had just awoken to relieve himself, when for unexplained reasons a hail of bullets was directed at this lovely home in this peaceful neighborhood. The citizenry can rest assured that no stone will be left unturned in tracking down and bringing to justice the obvious out of towner(s) who committed this heinous act. It is suspected the matter was of geographical confusion, the shooter(s) mistaking Steubenville for Chicago.

The community continues to lie to itself about these shootings. They are not about guns, they are about a violent culture, one in which violence has been glorified as the best possible thing to do. When you have athletes and entertainers flashing gang signs and making fortunes promoting violence as positive conduct, you will always have these kinds of mindless killings. The church based efforts to counter this will never overcome the heroes of the culture who promote violence. Some guy in Montana who owns a gun is not the cause of this, its about the culture of the street. Overcome the music/movie glorification of violence and stop pretending that mourning is another media event. My hopes are with the community but so far nothing real has happened to stop the violence. Its accetpable conduct not just guns and drugs. And why do you raise your kids there? MOVE away from the violence but don't bring the violence with you, leave it behind. Give you kids a chance.

The shootings all were at around 2am. So, there is a pattern on the time of the shootings. Ages all seem to be in their 20's. I would recommend closing roads putting up road blocks in areas of the shootings for say 1am to 3am. What businesses are open until 2am? Bars? close them down at 12 midnight. Just a thought.

There could even be a limit put into affect or something like no more then two people in a car at a time after 9pm. Make some new anti-gang laws.

You can make a 100 new laws it will have no impact, you (Police) need to shoot and kill these people, both home grown and outside of Steubenville. Until then expect no improvement.
