In the entire five thousand plus pages of the "Affordable Care Act", there is not ONE WORD about how they are increasing the number of medical personnel.

Bird, I got a letter from my doctor. He is retiring. He said he had no intention of dealing with the stupidity in the new law.

My sister that runs a large hospital says they will lose at least 10% or more of their affiliated doctors in the next few year, far more than normal, because they are retiring early to avoid dealing with obamacare.

So if there are fewer doctors and more patients, how will the law HELP???

In these days of secret domestic surveillance by the intelligence community, rogue IRS officials and state tax agencies using private information for political purposes, and police electronically logging every license plate that passes by, the idea of the centralized Data Hub is making lawmakers and citizens nervous.

They certainly should be; the potential for abuse is enormous. The massive, centralized database will include comprehensive personal information such as income and financial data, family size, citizenship and immigration status, incarceration status, social security numbers, and private health information. It will compile dossiers based on information obtained from the IRS, the Department

Would you trust thousands of low-level Federal bureaucrats and contractors with one-touch access to your private financial and medical information?

Under Obamacare you won’t have any choice.

As the Obamacare train-wreck begins to gather steam, there is increasing concern in Congress over something called the Federal Data Services Hub. The Data Hub is a comprehensive database of personal information being established by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement the federally facilitated health insurance exchanges. The purpose of the Data Hub, according to a June 2013 Government Accountability Office (GAO) report, is to provide “electronic, near real-time access to federal data” and “access to state and third party data sources needed to verify consumer-eligibility information.”

ObamaCare challenge

Published July 19, 2013 Associated Press

Hobby Lobby Inc. was given a temporary exemption Friday from a requirement in the new federal health care law to offer insurance coverage for the morning-after pill and similar emergency birth control methods or face steep fines.

U.S. District Judge Joe Heaton issued the preliminary injunction for the Oklahoma City-based arts and crafts chain and stayed the case until Oct. 1 to give the federal government time to consider filing an appeal with the U.S. Supreme Court.

There are currently 63 separate lawsuits challenging the health care law's mandate, 34 of them involving for-profit businesses like Hobby Lobby.

It is not unusual for a new law to go through a trial period where flaws are detected and corrected by followup amendments. The legislative process is designed to allow existing laws to be modified or even revoked. It's the way the system is supposed to work. There is a saying that compares laws with sausage; you don't want to see how either one is made.

Bulletin: The rate "decreases" affect 17,000 of the 2.3 million in the NY State system (Bloomberg)and it does come w/ a caveat. “Some of the products may only contain a narrow option, and so members may not be able to see pre-chosen doctors or a hospital of their choosing,”

And of course those receiving "subsidies" for the lower rates are "subsidized" by the rest of us. And it will be interesting to see how long that rate structure (if accurate) will hold up. Also from Bloomberg, "The new insurance rates won’t come without trade-offs. In Louisiana last week, the state’s BlueCross BlueShield plan said it expected premiums to stay flat or decline next year for about 75 percent of the individual market when subsidies are included. The remaining 25 percent will likely see increases, with rates more than doubling for some people who make too much for the financial assistance, the company said.

"political trash is published in an effort to maintain very wealthy health insurance company profits,"

From CNN (Google CNN Money Top industries: Most profitable)"Health Care: Insurance and Managed Care" comes in at 35 on the list of 53 w/ a 2.2% profit margin. "Insurance: Life, Health (mutual)" comes in at 47 on the list w/ a -3.0% profit margin.

Obama's friends in Pharmaceuticals came in at #3 on the list w/ a healthy 19% profit margin!

Reality again tops the lying loony left and their false narrative!

"A president who had promised to negotiate on C-Span cut a closed-door deal with a powerful lobby, signifying to disillusioned liberal supporters a loss of innocence, or perhaps even the triumph of cynicism."

Disillusioned indeed!!!

More from the NY Times article, "Just like that, Mr. Obama’s staff signaled a willingness to put aside support for the reimportation of prescription medicines at lower prices and by doing so solidified a compact with an industry the president had vilified on the campaign trail. Central to Mr. Obama’s drive to remake the nation’s health care system was an unlikely collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry that forced unappealing trade-offs."

So the liberal NY Times finds evidence that the authors of Obamacare colluded w/ Big Pharma to MAINTAIN their MONOPOLY yet Goose attempts to blame the NR.

I guess if reality doesn't fit your agenda you just make up your own narrative to fit it!!!

So the NR is helping maintain big Pharma monopolies???? I always find it interesting when the loony left "projects" what their policies have done onto others!!!

It is OBAMACARE that has helped maintain Big Pharma monopolies!! From the NY Times, "WASHINGTON — After weeks of talks, drug industry lobbyists were growing nervous. To cut a deal with the White House on overhauling health care, they needed to be sure that President Obama would stop a proposal intended to bring down medicine prices. On June 3, 2009, one of the lobbyists e-mailed Nancy-Ann DeParle, the president’s health care adviser. Ms. DeParle reassured the lobbyist. Although Mr. Obama was overseas, she wrote, she and other top officials had “made decision, based on how constructive you guys have been, to oppose importation” on a different proposal."

Shame, so many willing to destroy any attempt at improving health care for Americans.

"Obama doesn't care. The law is his baby and he is determined to push it - whether it is good for Americans of not."-NR

Seriously? Is it any wonder it is so difficult to read any NR article when such biased, hateful, unfounded, political trash is published in an effort to maintain very wealthy health insurance company profits, pharma monopolies and American health care a pursuit of happiness for the wealthy only.

Donaldo, from the NY Times: “State insurance regulators say they have approved rates for 2014 that are at least 50 percent lower on average than those currently available in New York.”

So it’s the NY STATE APPROVED RATES that have dropped. NOT the price. Can you say thanks for nothing, Obamascam?

And the NY Times also says “With federal subsidies, the cost will be even lower.” So acoustic if you’re a Federal taxpayer and a maker, not a taker, guess what? You’re STILL paying for others’ medical care. Derrrrr...
