Let's get the money first....keep voting. Then we can discuss the logistics! Wheeling Dog Park group has done an awesome job!

It really shouldn't be that difficult to maintain. Grass cutters/pooper scoopers could be volunteers or from the city. The most difficult issues will be a fee to verify the vet record checks, to protect other owners and dogs, especially if they are in heat. If there is fencing, there may be some type of sale for a chipped collar to track or link owners and dogs. People love their pets,...some more than their own kids,...I think it has a good shot for success!! ;o)

I seriously doubt anyone pushing for this park has considered any of that richardwhee. The are all gungho and getting really, annoyingly, serious about it. But IF Wheeling wins anything, after the celebrating is done and the dust has settled, everyone will stand around looking at each other like, "now what?" Not to mention that it's an extremely expensive "back yard" to take your dog to poop in.

Building it is one thing, maintaining it is another. What are the plans??
