From the article "Yet even before the hearing began Democrats dismissed Goodlatte and Cantor's not-yet-released legislation, saying that any solution that doesn't offer citizenship to all 11 million immigrants here illegally falls short."

Right, hoopie. That "all or nothing," "my way or the highway" attitude by House Democrits makes it hard for the House to come to any compromise. You need to talk to Nancy Pelosi about that.

yahn....this congress is the absolute worst in our history. I truely believe the current bunch of republicans in congress hate the republic our fore fathers created. The gerrymandered state districts show how corrupt our leaders are. They decide who they will represent not the people deciding who they want to represet them. Conservatism is the enemy.

I just want to know why all our representatives are working for people that are not even citizens of the United States. So tell me who do I vote for to represent me!

Hey Wvcoughy, tell us how making 11 to 30 million new people eligible for welfare and Obamacare will, under Immagration(sic)reform:

A) Help the budget deficit?

B) Help the unemployment rate?

Yeah right, cough cough!

Hey daMoron and talksalout. Sometimes it's better to keep quiet and let people think you're stupid, than to open your mouth and prove it... Headlines should read. GOP still can't get it right on Immagration!

The DEMS can NOT POSSIBLY allow the GOP to take credit for giving even ONE illegal citizenship!

Why think of what that would do to their 2014 election pitch--"The GOP is BLOCKING legislation to give amnesty to millions of hardworking UNDOCUMENTED people!"

Heavens!

if THEY worked that hard to turn blind eye to all law breakers, there would be no traffic spy cameras and no need to purchase any license for any purpose.
