rag: yes the public paying Ormet's electric bill is a form of tax to benefit a private business. Did not happen at Century and will not at Ormet.

Ormet is a dated facility. It's time has pasted.

Ragnar-- How right you are. Once again those with the biggest mouth and political pull will try to rob the Gov.

If it fails, it fails. No private sector business should ever be propped up with taxpayer money nor should any individual utility rate payers have to subsidize commercial or industrial users.

Ormet cannot run its' business profitably. That is no one's fault but Ormet. Thousands of other businesses have gone bust. Time for Ormet to actually live in a free market.

Not one dime of taxpayer money should ever go to subsidize a private sector business.

But the NR is opposed to Government intervention. Let the free market work as you advocate NR.
