In my day, mom made sure we were in bed at a decent hour. We did our homework as soon as we got home, then did our chores, then supper, then family time, then bed. In the morning we were up bright and early, chores done, breakfast eaten, dressed and waiting for the bus. She kept us on this schedule throughout the school year then in the summer, after chores we picked our activities and she made sure we got to do them. For our hard work during the school year, she made sure we had the best summer possible. AND we all carried 3.7 or higher. Go MOM!!
